Excursions and social activities

We organise one excursion per month to places of local or national interest from September to May and more often in the summer based on demand. Each excursion is led by a member of staff from Peartree Languages. This is an excellent way to meet new friends, spend time practising your English outside the classroom and become familiar with the history, culture and way of life in the United Kingdom.

Students are expected to pay the costs of the transport and any entry fees, which will be advertised at the school on the notice boards and also on FACEBOOK.

LondonFor students on pre-sessional courses, F.C.E. summer school or individual programs there will be e. additional activities scheduled into your course. We partner with our trusted excursion providers, Heritage Tours Wales and Tom Partridge Everything Outdoors to provide professional, organised days out. Excursions could include, but are not limited to, city tours, historical sites of interest, walking or canoeing. A full program of excursions can be chosen and agreed from a list prior to the course start date.

Students often meet on a more informal basis for a meal or a drink after class in one of the numerous cafes in the local area, including the very popular Chapter Arts Centre, only a five minute walk from Peartree Languages.

Big pit Mining Museum“Much of the social and creative life in Cardiff revolves around Chapter, an arts complex with a much cherished pair of cinemas, an inventive gallery and a really good bar."
