Full-time students on English language courses at Peartree Languages will have a weekly progress test included as part of the course. For students taking a General English course the weekly test will be based on grammar, reading, writing and listening studied during that class week. For students taking an examination course (I.E.L.T.S. or Cambridge Preparation) the weekly test will be a module from the examination you are preparing for.
This allows you to measure your progress and helps you focus on areas of weakness in a structured way. The tests are overseen by the Director of Studies who can give you additional advice on your studies.
For students on part-time or flexible courses you can choose to take a test as an extra to your course. There are weekly test schedules advertised on the student notice board at the school and you can discuss with your Personal Tutor which English language tests would be most suitable for you.
